There are ten Acrylic rods with blue LEDs mounted on Acrylic tubes. Each one has it’s own random time generator. After the random time, the blue LED fades in and then out rather than simply turning on and off. The timing is such that there will be two LEDs on at any time on average. There will, of course, be times when no LEDs are on and times when more than two LEDs will be on.
