When you slide the lid of the box open, you will see some stones from a beach

When you open the box, a flag called a red ensign suddenly
pops up. It falls down into the box again when you close it.

This work uses an ultrasonic distance measuring device.
When you get within 1.5m of it and then move away, two seconds later the hands spin round for about one second. Clearly this work has more to do with the perception of time than what time of day it is.
